Mr. Shy - Man or Pixel

Shypixel is both. There is the pixel, most famous for his portrayal of part of Jessica Alba's side-boob in a wildly popular internet image. He has gone on to star in his very own web-comic, with a readership numbering in the tens. He hides, virtually invisible on many of the sites I have built through the years, making Waldo look like an attention whore.

Then there is Shypixel, the man. A web developer/designer tucked away in a remote mountain valley in NW Montana. I raise my son and my dogs and make the absolute most out of living in one of the best places on earth.

This site is, as you may have noticed, not geared to kissing ass and begging for work. In fact, it's not really built for anybody but myself. It is my egotistical forum to the world, where I can vent my mind, display my odd creations, and play around with new applications and code. What this really translates to is this: The eight or so of you who actually come back to my site regularly will learn to hate me with an ubridled passion.

I've spent years building sites that were meant to attract people, and to never offend anybody's sensibilities. Most have been politically correct, idiot friendly, and written to the lowest common denominator in technology. Fuck that. This is my haven, where I can build a site that expects you to have a computer/browser combo less than ten years old. I can demand that you have prior knowledge of how to operate the internet, and mock you if you fail.

Of course, I open myself up to harsh criticism, and I welcome it. Send me all of your hate mail, and any constructive comments you might have.
